For grinding stainless steel, heat-resistant steel and high-alloy plates, the microcrystalline eutectic structure of fused zirconia alumina delivers ‌3-5 times longer service life‌ than ordinary aluminum oxide abrasives. It resists rapid passivation even during prolonged high-pressure grinding, drastically reducing downtime for disc replacement.

In weld root cleaning and thick weld layer dressing operations, the high-toughness zirconia alumina grains will not suffer large-scale abrasive shedding or edge chipping like standard flap discs. It maintains consistently high cutting force, with far higher metal removal per disc than conventional brown fused alumina products.

For large-scale rust removal and old coating stripping on ships and steel structures, the fiberglass backing of the disc offers strong support. It generates less vibration when working flat against steel plates, maintaining stable grinding performance even during long-hour handheld operations, with working efficiency ‌40% higher‌ than ordinary flap discs.
